Day 01: Arrive Paro – Drive to Thimphu
Your journey begins with a breathtaking mountain flight into Paro. Upon arrival, our Bhutan Holidays representative will warmly welcome you at the airport.
After lunch, explore Paro`s cultural gems — Ta Dzong Museum and the iconic Rinpung Dzong, before driving along the Pachu River to the capital, Thimphu.
Evening: Bhutanese etiquette orientation by your guide.

Day 02: Thimphu – Festival Day
Attend the vibrant Thimphu Tshechu at Tashichhodzong. Join locals in their finest attire for a day of masked dances, prayers, and traditional feasting.
Explore Tashichhodzong, Bhutan`s religious and administrative centre.

Day 03: Thimphu Sightseeing & Festival
Visit the 12th-century Changangkha Temple, Zilukha Nunnery, and National Memorial Chorten — a living monument of peace.
In the afternoon, return to the festival to soak in more festivities and spiritual vibrance.

Day 04: Thimphu – Punakha
Drive over scenic Dochu-La Pass (3,100m) to reach Punakha, Bhutan`s ancient capital.
Visit the majestic Punakha Dzong, a masterpiece of Bhutanese architecture located at the confluence of the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers.
Overnight in Punakha.
Day 05: Punakha Exploration
Enjoy a short hike to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten, followed by a picnic by the riverside.
Later, visit Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple dedicated to Drukpa Kuenley — the Divine Madman.
Overnight in Punakha/Wangdue.
Day 06: Punakha – Trongsa
Drive to Trongsa via Pele La Pass and Chendebji Chorten, crossing into central Bhutan.
Explore the massive Trongsa Dzong, strategically positioned with commanding views.
Overnight in Trongsa.
Day 07: Trongsa – Bumthang
Visit Ta Dzong Museum, home to royal artefacts including the Raven Crown and historic relics.
Continue to Bumthang valley via Yotong La Pass, arriving in Bhutan`s spiritual heartland.
Visit Jakar Dzong, a historic fortress with a mystical origin.
Overnight in Bumthang.
Day 08: Attend Tangbi Mani Festival
Venture to Tangbi Mani village, accessible via a scenic 45-minute walk.
Celebrate the Tangbi Mani Festival in a magical rural setting with vibrant dances, local games, and immersive village life.
Overnight in Bumthang.
Day 09: Bumthang Sightseeing
Explore sacred temples:
Walk with locals and witness daily life in one of Bhutan`s most spiritually potent valleys.
Overnight in Bumthang.
Day 10: Bumthang – Gangtey (Phobjikha Valley)
Drive to Gangtey, one of Bhutan`s most stunning glacial valleys.
Visit Gangtey Goempa, a serene monastery surrounded by pristine wilderness.
Overnight in Phobjikha.
Day 11: Gangtey – Thimphu
Early morning visit to view Black-Necked Cranes (winter only).
Drive back to Thimphu via Dochu-La, with scenic stops en route.
Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 12: Thimphu – Paro via Tango Monastery
Hike to Tango Monastery, an esteemed centre of monastic learning.
Later, visit:
Drive to Paro for the night.
Overnight in Paro.
Day 13: Hike to Taktsang (Tiger`s Nest Monastery)
A highlight of your Bhutan journey! Hike to Taktsang Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliff 900m above the valley floor.
Return to Paro and visit the reconstructed Drukgyel Dzong, with views of Mount Jomolhari on clear days.
Overnight in Paro.
Day 14: Depart Paro
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
